Forum: GratefulDead Subject: DireWolf Drinking again?

I could never figure out Direwolf0701 before he told us he was an irresponsible drunk loser that lets his family down time after time.
You see,i would post shit and start arguing with him,and sometimes he would say"Your just being childish, and i wont answer you ever again"things like that, very politely taking the high road with my infantile antics.
Other times he would rip into me,call me names,be very vulgar, threaten me,etc..basically stoop to my level.
Its quite obvious now that he was doing the latter when he was 3 sheets to the wind, and his true persona came out.The guy was shitfaced and didnt even remember some of his posts.
When he (allegedly) got out of "rehab" last week,he was saying things like"ill pray for you Tito,i have found Jesus,Its not woth arguing brother"
Today he posted a response to me from an earlier post where he is back to normal, calling me a fat little ginny with a small prick.
All this leads me to believe hes shitfaced again.Drinking some Brandy, its cold up in Attleboro today. So i say this.I TOLD YOU YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE A LOSER DRUNK!Try not to touch your kids inappropriatly tonight man.Just keep your drinking to yourself, and ill talk to you on here bud.Its good to have your loser ass back.

apparently it wasn't the drinking that caused me to stoop to your level - although i was a bit more vitriolic with a nice scotch buzz.

but no, sorry to say, still sober - almost three weeks now.

sorry if i was a bit too close to the truth in my other post. there are implants available now though - just tryin to help my brother out.

Every day is a new day?

Not around here, unfortunately. I think the writers' strike is affecting the forum. Each day is another re-run of the same old shit.

Glad all is going well on your journey. Hope your family is well.

I'd really rather hear a song about a three legged gnewt that yearns for the transient joy of velcro.

But thanks anyway.

will be a rerun of a 1978 episode of Different Strokes, "Get in Line." Arnold comes into puberty and fucks the hell out of big sister Kimberly. Meanwhile, Willis is out rolling winos and copping a few dimes in the hood. All the while, Mr. Drummond in buggering the maid, drinking Dom, and watching reruns of Mr.Ed, zllthe while laughing at how stupid Willis is for not just stealing the silverware or busting into "dad's'" stash.

GOP is stone cold sober. I don't drink, smoke, snort, shoot, or sniff. No rehab--I just don't dig it.

Okay--there are those meds for . . . . but they don't get you high. Dammit.

I believe the condition is called boring, but it is not contagious.

Mr. Wolf: I amam glad to read each report you make.

Another Festivus miracle if there ever was one.

SDH--did you miss this episode the first time around?

"short, fat, rather homely italians"

Why do equate being Italian with fat, short and homely? You got something against Italians? Your not a bigot are you? thats a couple of times youve pointed out he was Italian as if thats one of his negative qualities.

I'm not a bigot - I'd hate you if you were Asian, white, purple, and/or polka dotted. However, if you can find me a cheap laptop for sale by a member of the UConn Hoops' team, I'd be willing to reconsider (although Liberty still sucks as a song).

hate is such a strong word- maybe despise would be a more fitting choice,no?

I stand corrected. You're right. No time to hate. Detest, despise, etc do seem to hit the mark better. Thanks. Of course, Ducats said it first and best.

Liberty is again a great song, the only thing that sucks about it is the middle verse....other than that, the first and last whole versus are epic.

I commend you for consistently defending the song - here it is from that horrid arena in NC:

Really, how sad is it to have to wear baby blue to cheer on your school?

Liberty was better off just being the original Robert Hunter solo song and not adopted by the Grsteful Dead in the first place. I'll take Hunter's version over the band's cover any day...

Total respect to your opinion but I must disagree. I, too, really liked Liberty. I thought it was a legit encore among a bunch of duds in later years. I appreciated it more when I heard Hunter's original version. Sorry to say that thing was a trainwreck. I thought garcia put a nice melody to the tune. Again, just me.
